Parties at Hibiscus Aquatic Centre in Mt Gravatt give your group two hours of pool time plus a dedicated shaded area with table and chairs, a party bag and a juice box for every child. Choose the WaterSlide Pool Party for access to the pools and water slide, or a Splash n Play Party with a reserved umbrella table beside the climbing gym and 25-metre pool. Party Information
Duration
Parties at Hibiscus Aquatic Centre run for 2 hours of facility access. If you’d like more party time, you can add an Extra Party Hour for $100.00 when you book online. Booking in advance is essential.
Booking Guidelines
- Guests must be 1 metre tall to use the water slide.
- All parties must have adult supervision. All guests aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult who is on the guest list.
- All children 5 and under must be within arm’s reach at all times while in the water, and children aged 10 and under must be actively watched at all times.
- No glass or alcohol is permitted on centre grounds.
- Booking in advance is essential.
- Area hire does not include exclusive use of the pool, slide or play gym – these remain available for public use and other events.
- The Splash n Play parties do not include access to the waterslide area.
What is included?
Every party at Hibiscus Aquatic Centre includes:
- 2 hours of facility access
- Child access, plus access for adult spectators
- A reserved seated area including table and chairs
- A party bag and juice box for each child
The WaterSlide Pool Party also includes access to the pools and water slide. The Splash n Play parties include a dedicated table with umbrella beside the climbing gym and 25-metre pool. Our pool café has drinks and snacks, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
What is the cost of a party?
Hibiscus Aquatic Centre has three party packages, each with a minimum of 10 children:
- Hibiscus WaterSlide Pool Party (2 hours) – $225.00
- Hibiscus Umbrella Splash n Play Party – $160.00
- Hibiscus Splash & Play Party (2 hours) – $160.00
Optional extras you can add when booking online:
- $22.50 – Add an extra party guest
- $100.00 – Extra party hour
- $55.00 – Party pies & sausage rolls
- $5.00 – Peters ice cream of choice
- $2.00 – Slushee upgrade
- Party platter – price on booking
What if I need to add extra guests to the list after I have booked?
Additional guests or siblings can pay for an access armband on the day of the party at the pool reception. If you aren’t 100% sure on numbers when you book, you are welcome to purchase additional wristbands at reception on the day.
Is it possible to rent a BBQ?
BBQ hire is not currently offered as an add-on at Hibiscus Aquatic Centre. Our pool café has drinks and snacks available, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, and party food platters can be added to your booking online. Please contact the centre if you have a specific catering request.
Cancellations
All applications to cancel, amend a date or request a refund on any booking must be made with 48 hours notice and will incur a $100 processing fee (non-refundable). Customers will receive a full refund or credit in the case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Please contact us by phone to cancel or to enquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
